How Gratuity is Calculated in the UAE

Under the UAE Labor Law 2022, employees are entitled to a "gratuity" payment when their employment contract ends, provided they have completed at least one year of service.

  • Service Period: Calculated on a pro-rata basis for partial years after the first year.
